Belleau Wood Farms Alpacas, we
have developed a breeding
program that we believe will produce U.S.A. alpacas that
will be some of the best in the world. We are proud to
offer you some of the best bloodlines from across the U.S.
representing a great genetic diversity. We have strong
backgrounds in genetics and understand the power of breeding
for genetic gain. We have a plan in motion for how we will
create the best the world has to offer. We strive to choose
the best from Chile, Bolivia and Peru and focus on what the
animal brings to the breeding equation regardless of their
national background. Our program uses top Chilean alpacas
for the rich color genetics and their vigor. We admire the
work and skill that Alpacas de la Patagonia has put into
breeding outstanding full Chileans and have several animals
in our program from their herd. We bring in the deservedly
prestigious Accoyo bloodlines for density, character, and
shear weight. We have included bloodlines from the famous
Hemingway and Bueno lines as well as a few colored Peruvians
that we admire. We have also included a few select Bolivian
bloodlines added for their coverage (particularly head
coverage) and their density. We try to offer a wide variety
of price ranges to suit different budgets and business
plans. As a result, we have a variety of quality, but rest
assured that every animal represents a solid investment
opportunity.
