Located
in the emerald foothills of Helvetia, Oregon, an historic Swiss
farming community, Pacific Crest Alpacas combines the magic of the
green hills of Switzerland with the enchantment of alpacas and the
Peruvian Andes. As you approach the Ranch from the valley below and
gaze upon the herds of many colored alpacas grazing and frolicking
on the hillsides, it is as if you have entered a timeless world,
free from the tensions and worries of the fast-paced world behind
you. The center of activity at Pacific is the renowned mortise and
tenon barn of the Accoyo Norte Breeding Center.
Here reside the Accoyo Norte herdsires,
Camilio, El Nino, Microsoft, Nautilus, Apache, Helios, Atticus,
Ulysses and Hemingway, each with their respective herds of breeding
females.
