Incentives - Over and over, we have watched Futurity winner sale prices consistently outperform the market averages at auction. So, this year, if you consign a 2009 -2011 Futurity Color, we’ll credit you $250 toward your entry fee. If you consign a Reserve Color Champion we will credit $125. -NEW!
Rewards- If the alpaca you sell goes on to become a Futurity Color Champion for the new owner, Celebrity Sales will write you a check for $350! If its a Reserve Color Champion we’ll pay you $175! -NEW!
New Futurity Results Magazine. Consigned alpacas which go on to become Color or Reserve Champions will be featured along with the Consignor and Buyer in the “Top Performers” section of our new Futurity Results Magazine which will be printed and mailed in May, and distributed at the AOBA National Convention. -NEW!
Low, Fair Fees. There is no fee for applying to the auction. The entry fee for alpacas accepted for the auction will be $1,500, payable $750 on February 1, 2012 and $750 on April 1, 2012.The sales commission on sales will continue to be 10%. No sales will be charged 8% of the final bid, or a minimum of $350. -NEW!
Entries will be comprised of approximately 2/3 Huacaya, and 1/3 Suri entries. Both male and female entries will be accepted. Consignors may enter multiple consignments. Entries will be selected by Celebrity sales on the basis of overall marketability. The sale will close when all sale slots have been filled, however no entries will be accepted after January 20, 2012. All applicants will be notified of entry acceptance status by January 24, 2012.
