Celebrity Sales is pleased to announce that negotiations have been finalized allowing The Futurity Alpaca Sale & Show to be moved to the nation’s finest livestock event facility, Heritage Place, in Oklahoma City.

This multi-million dollar venue features a world-class auction facility, in-house restaurant, bar & lounge, over 650 stalls, and show arena. If the venue name sounds familiar, it was the site of some of the earliest Futurity events. Back in our early days, the likes of 4Peruvian Legacy and Peruvian Bueno, originally sold at the Heritage Place auction pavilion.

In the decade since our last alpaca event at Heritage Place, the facility has undergone a 3+ million dollar facelift. Added were a beautiful new restaurant and lounge, new temperature control and ventilation system, VIP seating in the sale arena, gorgeous new registration and settlement areas, and state-of-the-art audio and video systems with over 30 flat screen monitors throughout the venue.

The Futurity Show & Sale is one of the best venues to showcase your breeding program. This year features...

* World-Class Convention Center/Livestock Venue

Select your finest young alpacas and enter them in The Futurity Show.

The Small Breeder Challenge is an AOBA sanctioned show, specifically for farms with 20 or fewer ARI registered females. (Male alpacas do not count toward breeder size.)

The show allows smaller farms to compete strictly against farms with similar resources. The show concept may best be analogized to high school or college sports, where schools with smaller numbers of students play in a different division than much larger ones. It does not mean that the education is of less quality, the games less entertaining, or the competition less fierce. It simply gives schools the opportunity to compete against other schools with comparatively similar resources.

We are very excited about this new show, and hope many breeders falling into the eligible size category will make plans to compete. Helen Humphreys will be the judge for the The Small Breeders Challenge.
