This year, we are offering you the opportunity to come up with your own version of "Drive-By" breedings -- “Stop-By” breedings -- during The Futurity weekend. Bring your Herd Sire to The Futurity and create your own program in regards to price, terms, etc. (creativity encouraged!).
There is no doubt; in today’s alpaca market we are all looking for the best genetics and the best values. One of the results of the combined searches for these two qualities has been the increased popularity of “drive by” and “portable stud” breedings.
Considering that 2010’s Futurity is taking place right in the center of the country, at the ideal time for transit “hand-offs” of alpacas traveling coast to coast, and during breeding season for most alpaca farms, we are offering you the opportunity to come up with your own version of “Stop-By” breedings during The Futurity weekend. Bring your Herd Sire to The Futurity and create your own program in regards to price, terms, etc. (creativity encouraged!). Whatever you decide to offer, Celebrity Sales will do the following to help you:
• Publish your herd sire’s name, your contact info, and offer on our website and in the sale catalog.
• Place your alpaca displays in preferred display areas.
• Provide you with two 10x10 stalls (one with bedding, for your stud and one for tack, display, or
“client waiting room”) next to your other stall
• Your stud will be in the “Herd Sire Parade” prior to the sale preview, where he will be paraded in
front of the crowd while your breeding offer is announced simultaneously.
• If your stud has offspring in the auction, you may bring him onstage while the offspring are sold.
• VIP Seating at tables, with wait staff for Saturday’s auction in the sale pavilion.
• 15% discount off a full-page ad of your Herd Sire in the sale catalog.
The price for all of the above is just $500 per stud.
