Triple H Ranch is nestled in the beautiful foothills of Colorado’s front range, roughly 30 minutes south west of Denver. Established in March of 2013, we strived to acquire alpaca and make breeding decisions that would allow us to have a solid foundation of elite Suri alpaca on which to build. The goal was, and is, to create superior breeding stock with advanced Suri fleece traits and solid conformation for show and sale.

The ranch is owned and operated by Jennifer Hack, who has used her extensive knowledge of livestock and breeding to build an elite herd of Suris. The result is a herd of over 50 alpaca that are conformationally sound and have the fleece characteristics Suri breeders desire. Rogue began as a small suri farm in 2009, owned by Jason & Beverly Brehm with the help of their 2 children, Christian and Julia.  Rogue is fixed on top of a beautiful hillside overlooking the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon.  Currently Rogue is home to a large herd of suri alpacas as well as a small herd of huacaya alpacas.  Their goal is to create quality breeding stock with advanced fleece traits every year for show and sale, and have been achieving this goal and push to surpass it every year.  In late 2019, Beverly became an AOA Certified Judge and she now judges all over the USA and has traveled abroad to judge internationally.  Achieving may accolades along the way, 2023 has been Rogue’s most successful year with 3 AOA Supreme Champions, as well as the 2023 Breeder of the Year in Both AOA’s show system and the US Futurity.

Big Timber Alpacas resides among the tall firs on Parrett Mountain near Sherwood, Oregon, about 25 miles southwest of Portland. We love working with both experienced and new breeders located inside and outside the US to provide them the best alpacas to suit their needs.
Our breeding program focuses on proven elite white and color genetics to produce champion alpaca bloodlines. Our mission is to produce the highest quality alpaca seed stock: conformationally correct and healthy; uniform, dense and finely fibered, good-natured alpacas. We are proud that 100% of our white foundation herd has Top 1%- 5% rankings in the 2021 EPDs. In addition, 100% of our color herd including blacks and browns has at least Top 25% EPD rankings. We believe in using quantitative data tools, including histograms, EPDs and skin biopsies, to measure the success of our breeding program and improve our seed stock with every generation. We shear and test all our alpacas every year, including Suri juveniles, to accurately assess annual fiber trait progress and to utilize the fiber in our products. We use the Suri Network S.H.I.P tool to independently evaluate our Suri alpacas by outside experts. Data-driven breeding decisions ensure quality results and drive our breeding program advancements.

Big Timber alpacas compete in top national shows winning championships, judges choice awards and “Advanced Fleece” awards. We are honored to be the recipient of the 2020 AOA Light Suri Male Supreme Champion, the 2019 AOA Heirloom Breeder Cup and 2019 Suri Network Diamond Breeder Cup Awards, and the 2018 Futurity Reserve Suri Small Breeder Award.

In February 1984, Stachowski Alpacas purchased 25 alpacas in Catskills New York from the very first importation. Anthony was one of the founding fathers of the breed registry and show association. He insisted that age and sex classes be divided by COLOR. For over 38 years, Champions of all colors are found in the 100’s of rolling acres at Stachowski Alpacas.

In 1995 Mary and I joined the Peruvian Importers in selecting “the best of the best” from cooperatives in the highlands of Peru including Alianza, Accoyo, Sollocota and others. Detailed notes taken on each alpaca selected are now found on Openherd. Thousands of alpacas were evaluated each year (P3, P4, P5, P6 and CP1). Imports exhibited exceptional traits of fineness, density, uniformity, and character which catapulted my herd in the show ring and breeding barn. Stachowski Alpacas grew into a marketing powerhouse with the Peruvian Classic Alpaca Sale held each October.

Anthony also holds veterinary seminars across the country for private farms and associations including the popular “What you can do without the Vet.” These seminars include blood draw, dentistry, injection techniques, ultrasonography, foot care, skin issues, and much more!

Today Stachowski Alpacas continues to show and breed approximately 300 alpacas to banner winners. Raynay Alpaca Farm began their journey in 2008. Wow, what a ride it has been! We love surrounding ourselves with the beauty of farm living and raising these wonderful suri alpacas. We are located in Caswell County, NC and our farm consists of 100 acres and around 70 alpacas that includes some agistors. We also have a farm store on the property and a bed and breakfast.

Our greatest accomplishment to date is having one of our bred and owned males crowned as a 2x Supreme National Champion Suri Light, Electrofye’s Cosmic Dust (now owned by Midnight Moon Suris). Our vision is to cross our Electrofyre lines with our newly acquired herdsire from the West Coast, Eldora’s Tempo by Rockstar (co-owned with 2 Point and Sie Sutter). As the industry evolves, Raynay evolves in hopes of breeding top-notch suri alpacas that would make any alpaca owner proud, huacaya too!!

In 1994 we purchased our first alpaca and since then we’ve included numerous champion-winning and champion-producing alpacas. The alpaca business is everything we ever wanted in a family business allowing us time for family life and time to create a wonderful family business we can all be a part of.
